Verditer Flycatcher

The verditer flycatcher is an Old World flycatcher Muscicapidae.

Muscicapa comes from the Latin musca meaning a fly, and capere to catch.
Eumyias Greek: eu good; muia fly.
Thalassinus : Latin word for sea-green.
verditer:  verdigris (a blue-green patina or rust that forms on copper-containing metals), or either of two pigments (blue verditer and green verditer).
