Bac Ninh Cycling is a one-day bicycle tour from Hanoi to the countryside of Bac Ninh Province. The trip starts on Saturday morning and the total biking distance is about 50km. The majority of our cycling is on quiet village roads.

The trip highlights include peaceful village life on the biking routes and centuries old pagodas and temples in Bac Ninh like But Thap Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, Do Temple, Dinh Bang Community House... Your lunch is included at a family where you could learn more about local life.

Bac Ninh is among the most ancient lands in Vietnam. The province was the political, economic and religious center of Giao Chau (the name of Vietnam) in the 2nd century B.C. Buddhism was introduced to Bac Ninh before other regions in the country. There are still spiritual monuments, archaeological artifacts and architectures that suggest the development of the land throughout the history of Vietnam.

Detailed itinerary

08:00 A.M Our tour guide picks you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi where we walk to a nearby bus stop. Then take a public bus to AdventureGreen Office by the Duong River.
1 hour cycling through villages by the Duong River to the But Thap Pagoda and the traditional folk paintings village of Dong Ho.
1 hour 30 minutes for visiting the pagoda and the village.
1 hour cycling through villages to Phat Tich Pagoda and 1 hour for visiting the 12-century pagoda and climbing the mountain.
10 minutes to cycle to a village for lunch at a family.

02:00 P.M Bid farewell to our hosts at the village and cycle through villages to Dinh Bang Village where we visit the famous Do Temple and the Community House.

04:00 P.M Leave the bicycles at Dinh Bang and take a public bus to Hanoi. Our tour guide escorts you on foot to your hotel the Old Quarter where our day adventure concludes.
