The Xuan Thuy National Park which is in Giao Thuy District of Nam Dinh Province, is the biggest bird park in Vietnam.

Detailed itinerary

Day1    Hanoi – Xuan Thuy National Park (Giao Thuy, Nam Dinh)/Boat Trip to Visit the National Park (L/D) 

0800 Depart Hanoi for the Xuan Thuy National Park. The first leg of the road journey is via Route 1 A with some rice fields and villages and the second leg is a small provincial road through idyllic countryside. By far, the Xuan Thuy National Park is mostly free from mass tourism and big crowds.

Arriving at Xuan Thuy at mid day, we have time to get our room and time for lunch.
In the afternoon, learn about the ecosystem of the national park with a boat trip to the Con Lu Island. Late afternoon, climb the Observation Tower to get amazing panoramic views of the national park.
Overnight at Xuan Thuy.

Day2    Xuan Thuy National Park -Hanoi (B/L) 

Breakfast at the park.
Boat trip to visit Con Ngan Island. Learn about bee raising business.
Lunch at the national park.
Road trip back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
