The park is not as well-known to tourists as other national parks in Vietnam and trekking in Ba Be is by far little known among the adventure travellers to Vietnam.
It is little known that Ba Be National Park possesses rich flora and fauna systems, sublime mountains, pristine lake and a system of rivers feeding water constantly to the lake and the area of Ba Be. Besides, Ba Be is home to some ethnic groups as Tay, Dao, Hmong, Nung, Kinh...whose daily life and cultures remain unchanged for centuries...

Detailed itinerary
Day1 Ha Noi – Cho Ra Township - Ban Tau - Cam Thuong – Dau Dang (2 hours trekking) (Ba Be National Park) (L/D)
Our adventure starts from Hanoi in the morning. We follow the Road No. 3 which snakes its way amid the green nature of the North-West of Vietnam. Arriving at Puoc near Cho Ra Town, we take a boat trip on the Nang River to visit the Puong Cave, an amazing huge cavern in a limestone mountain by the side of the river.
Then, proceed by car to the Cam Thuong Village, a Coin Dao Community perched on a high mountain. We then get off our car and start our trekking adventure via a footpath for two hours to Cam Ha Village, a Tay Community in the Ba Be National Park. As the day draws to a close we take a boat trip on the Nang River again to Dau Dang, another Tay Community by the Ba Be Lake and by a beautiful waterfall.

Day2 Dau Dang – Dan May – Coc Toc – Pac Ngoi (8-9 hours trekking)(Ba Be National Park) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the family.
Our adventure tour today involves about 18km through mountainous terrain which may take 8-9 hours of hard trekking, 3 hours of which is through the forest of the Ba Be National Park and the rest is via either thin forest or wild valleys. It would be a long day with lots of challenges, yet quite some inspirational awards. We will have picnic lunch en route. And our home for tonight is at a Tay Family on a house-on-stilts by the Ba Be Lake, in the core zone of the Ba Be National Park.

Day3 Pac Ngoi (Ba Be National Park) - Ba Be Lake Boat Trip – Ha Noi (B/L)
Breakfast at the homestay.
We have 3 hours in the morning traveling on the Ba Be Lake by boat. Then travel back to our homestay for lunch. After lunch, we enjoy a beautiful road trip back to Hanoi. We conclude our trip at your hotel in Hanoi at about dark. We trust your adventure with AdventureGreen has been fantastic!
