The Yen Tu Mountain is a sublime mountain range in the Northeast of Vietnam. The mountain was the birth place of Zen Buddhism in Vietnam in the 13th century.

Our one day tour from Hanoi is a hard trekking adventure tour to explore the Yen Tu Mountain and Yen Tu Pagodas. On the tour we trek for 4-6km uphill from the mountain base to the summit (1,068m) which may take 3.5-5 hours. And we descend the mountain by cable car (1.2km). Drinking water and picnic lunch are provided on the trek.

Detailed itinerary

0800 Depart from Hanoi for the Yen Tu Mountain.
1100 Arrive at Yen Tu Mountain, start our hiking adventure from the mountain base.
1230-1300 Picnic Lunch.
1530 Arrive at the Bronze Pagoda on the summit.
1600-1630 Descend the mountain and road trip back to Hanoi.
1930 Arrive back at Hanoi. End of adventure.
