The Bach Ma National Park is on the Bach Ma Mountain along with the Hai Van Pass runs along the west-east axis dividing Vietnam into relatively different climatic zones. The Bach Ma Mountain is a stretch of the Truong Son Mountain Range which runs almost the full length of Vietnam from the north of the Central Region to the south of Vietnam.

Thanks to the geographic location and terrain that the National Park of Bach Ma has an extremely diverse ecosystem with representative of different flora and fauna species of northern Vietnam and southern Vietnam and Laos.

Our day tour to Bach Ma starts and concludes in Hue City. But this same itinerary can also be done from/to either Hoi An and/or Da Nang in one day. We would need a revision of the prices in case of the change of the starting/ending place of the trip though.

The trip can only be done during the dry season in Hue: Late February through July. The road to Bach Ma is small and there are dangers that the trip can not be done during the rainy times or when it is foggy.

Detailed itinerary

0800-1000 Depart Hue for Bach Ma.
1000-1130 Enjoy a walk to the Vong Hai Dai Observatory and adore the sublime nature of the surroundings: The mountains, the Hai Van Pass and the Sea.
1130-1230 Lunch in the park.
1230-1500 Take a hike through the forest to the Rhododendron Waterfall (40-60 minutes). The sublime waterfall is about 300m high and there are several rhododendron plants around the area which makes the scene just amazing should it be in the season (January – February). 
Have time to adore the sublime beauty of the landscape around the waterfall then hike back to the parking point.
1500-1530 Have time to get relaxed in the chill and freshness of Bach Ma before descending the mountain.
1530-1730 Travel back to Hue. End of service.
