The Siberian blue robin (Larvivora cyane) is a small passerine bird belonging to the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. 

The word Larvivora comes from the Neo-Latin larva meaning caterpillar and -vorus meaning eating (vorace to devour).
Cyane (/ˈsaɪəniː/; from Κυανῆ (Kuanē), meaning "dark blue" in ancient Greek, Greek mythology).
