The forktails with a long forked tail are small insectivorous birds, genus Enicurus, formerly in the thrush family, Turdidae, but now treated as part of the Old World flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. 

Enicurus : Greek word  henikos – singular or unique;  ouros -tailed.
