The Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh in northern Vietnam is among the earliest established and best protected national parks in Vietnam.
Cuc Phuong includes tropical rain forest in valleys and on limestone mountains. Cuc Phuong possesses a tremendously diverse eco system with several flora and fauna species of which several are listed as endangered and critically endangered.
Cuc Phuong has a few rescue centers where animals or reptiles captured from illegal tradings are looked after before being released back in to the wild. Besides, the national park also has a semi-natural habitat for a different species.

0800 Depart from Hanoi for Cuc Phuong.
1000 Arrive at Cuc Phuong, briefing on the national park at the Visitor Center.
1200 Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, the Turtle Conservation Center.
1200-1300 Lunch.
1300-1500 Drive further into the forest and visit Cave of Prehistoric Man. And explore the heart of the forest of Cuc Phuong with a walking tour on a trail amid dense tropical forest to the Cho Chi Tree which is a gigantic 1000-year-old tree.
1530-1730/1800 Travel back to Hanoi. End of service.
