The Yok Don National Park stretches its area in Dak Lak and Dak Nong Provinces, right on the Cambodian border. On the other side of the border, there are lush protected forests which are home to a rich wildlife, too. The national park is 50km northwest of Buon Ma Thuot City.

Yen Tu Pagoda in Quang Ninh Province is a complex of pagodas built on the mountains of Yen Tu, of which the highest peak is 1,068m above sea level.
Xuan Thuy National Park is in Giao Thuy District, Nam Dinh Province. The national park was the first one in Vietnam registered to the List of Ramsar Wetlands of International Importance by the UNESCO. The national park covers an area of 12,000 hectares.
Xuan Son National Park is in Tan Son District, west of Phu Tho Province, 80km west of Viet Tri City and 140km north-west of Hanoi. The national park includes forest and mountains on the last stretch of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range (from Lai Chau and Lao Cai). The total area of the national park is 15,000 hectares.
The Xuan Lien Nature Reserve is in Thuong Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province. The Xuan Lien Nature Reserve was established in 1999 with the total area of 21,000 hectares and the buffer zone of 40,260 hectares.
Van Long Nature Reserve is flooded land covering 3,000 hectares with ranges of karst mountains all around in Gia Van Commune, Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province. The nature reserve is 90km south of Hanoi via Route 1, 18km northwest of Ninh Binh City.
U Minh Thuong National Park stretches on the districts of An Bien, An Minh, Vinh Thuan in the Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam.
U Minh Ha National Park is in Tran Van Thoi and U Minh Districts, Ca Mau Province, southern Vietnam. The forests at U Minh Ha is partially under water for six months and dry for 6 months every year.
The Tu Le Valley, which is in Van Chan District of Yen Bai Province, is a must-visit on your adventure trip to Yen Bai Province and Mu Cang Chai. The valley is conveniently located by Route 32 between Hanoi and Mu Cang Chai District.

The Cat Tien National Park is among the best birding sites in Vietnam. While the national park stretches in the provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Binh Phuoc we mostly enter the national park at Tan Phu, Dong Nai.
Lam Dong is composed of two plateaus: Lang Biang (Lam Vien) and Di Linh of which most of the terrain is higher than 800m in altitude. Da Lat, the provincial capital of Lam Dong, is on the altitudes of over 1,400m above sea level. The land offers an amazing diverse of bird species with many endemic ones.
Tram Tau District is a mountainous area to the southwest of Yen Bai Province. Tram Tau shares the border with Bac Yen District (of Son La Province) to the southwest and Muong La District (of Son La Province) to the west.
To Thi Mountain is 2km from Lang Son City Center. The Mountain offers spectacular view of the whole city. Visiting To Thi Mountain can be combined with visit to the Caves of Tam Thanh, Nhi Thanh. The mountain has paths for hiking, but do it with good care due to slippery sand.
