Highlights of Cambodia and Vietnam is a soft adventure tour of Cambodia and Vietnam in 20days/19 nights.
Tour Overview
The tour features the the major travel attractions of Cambodia and Vietnam such as the temples of Angkor, the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam, Hoi An Old Town, Hue and Halong Bay. The pace of travel is moderate with transfers for long distances by speedboat and by train. At each destination, we have reasonable time for guided tours and good time for relaxing or for self-exploration.

0800 A.M Visit the complex of the Royal city of Angkor Thom explore the South Gate, Bayon temple mountain, built by Jayavarman VII, is situated in the centre of the city of Angkor Thom. We will continue to the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to Preah Khan and Ta Phrom also known as the jungle's temple.
In the afternoon, explore Angkor Wat, largest and most impressive of all the temples. In late afternoon, drive to the Pre Rup temple for a truly memorable sunset over the rice paddy.

Day3 Siem Reap Tour (B)

0800 A.M Drive through the lovely countryside; explore the magnificent Banteay Srei "Citadel of Women” and Bantaey Kdei. Bantaey Srei considered the most elegantly-decorated temple of Angkor. Then, return to your hotel for refreshment and free time for lunch.
In the afternoon visit Angkor first capital, the Roluos group which was built in the ninth century. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned from A.D 877-89), are among the earliest temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer Classical Arts. We will tour the temples of Preah Ko (erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors), Bakong (the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples with a Buddisht monastery) and Lolei (built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir by Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor).
Then, continue to the Prolong Khmer Pottery & Weaving Training Center on the outskirts of Siem Reap in the quiet Bakong Village. This organization strives to preserve ancient Khmer arts by teaching younger generations the skills of making traditional pottery and of weaving the Khmer brocade. If you wish, meet the artisans and partake in a lesson to learn the techniques Cambodians have used for centuries.

Day4 Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (by car)/Tour of Phnom Penh (B)

Car trip to Phnom Penh. Have a tour of Phnom Penh in the afternoon: The Royal Complex, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom and the Russian Market.

Afternoon, travel further to Vinh Long. Take a boat trip to explore life of local inhabitants on the Mekong.
Overnight at a local family’s home on one of the islands on the Mekong River at Vinh Long.

Later in the afternoon, embark the overnight train bound for Da Nang.

Arriving at Da Nang, welcomed by our local team and transferred to Hoi An. Here, you have enough time to soak in the quaint atmosphere of the Ancient Town and have your clothes made by the talented local tailors.
