Typhoon Noru (4th Typhoon in Vietnam in 2022)
Typhoon Noru (4th Typhoon in Vietnam in 2022) from 26 to 28-September-2022 made landfall between Da Nang and Quang Ngai.
Typhoon Noru caused torrential rain in Quang Tri, Thua Thien – Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum with rainfall of 120-200 and 250mm at some places. No serious floods were recorded in these regions.
The influence of the typhoon caused torrential rain with rainfall of 100-166mm in the North of the Central Region of Vietnam. There was a flash flood at Ky Son (Nghe An) which swept away several houses and isolated many communities on 2-October-2022. Several places in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh were still flooded coming into October 2022.
