November is in between autumn and winter in northern of Vietnam, is the rainy season in the Central Coast of Vietnam, about to be the end of the rainy season in the Central Highlands and South of Vietnam.
Northern Vietnam have occasional spells of Northeasterly Wind which causes the cool temperatures in northern Vietnam in the winter, which causes heavy rain in the Central Coast and Central Highlands in October and November and which causes rough sea from the North to the South of Vietnam (Con Dao Islands and Phu Quoc Island).

First week of November, 2022
Typical autumnal weather in northern Vietnam: dry and lovely sunshine, extremely pleasant temperatures. It starts to turn chilly in the early morning and late at night at the end of the first week. The temperatures are 19-29oC.
The Central Coast of Vietnam still has rain mostly. The temperature are 22-28oC.
It rains less in the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam and there are days with sun. The temperatures are between 22-32oC.
Second week of November, 2022
The second week of November 2022 was the same as the first week. There was a new spell of cool NorthEasterly Wind in mid week and the temperatures turned a bit lower but were still very pleasant.
Northern Vietnam was dry, the temperatures were 18-30oC.
The Central Coast had mostly rain, 24-29oC.
The Central Highlands had some days with rain and clouds and some with sun, the temperatures were 18-29oC.
South of Vietnam had mostly rain, 28-31oC.
Third week of November, 2022
It started raining sporadically in northern Vietnam from mid of the third week. It was light rain in the lowlands but heavy rain in Cao Bang, Ha Giang and Lao Cai. The temperatures were 22-31oC mostly, 2-3oC lower in the mountains.
It rained heavily in the Mid and South of the Central Coast. The temperatures were 24-28oC.
The Central Highlands had mostly rain. The temperatures were 19-30oC.
Southern Vietnam had heavy rain mostly. The temperatures were 24-30oC in southern Vietnam.
There were successive spells of the Northeasterly Monsoon at the end of the third week causing torrential rain in the Central Coast and the Central Highlands, heavy rain in Southern Vietnam from the end of the third week to the beginning of the fourth week of November 2022.
Quy Nhon was partially flooded due to heavy rain at the end of the third week of November 2022.
Saigon enjoyed chilly weather in the morning and evening as the temperatures get around 22-24oC.
Fourth week of November, 2022
Beginning of the fourth week, there were successive spells of Northeasterly Wind which caused the skies in northern Vietnam overcast, the temperatures in northern Vietnam 3-4oC lower. There were strengthened spells of the Cool Wind in mid of the week which caused rain in most of northern Vietnam. The temperatures were 22-26oC mostly in the lowlands of northern Vietnam and 2-3oC lower in the mountains in far northern Vietnam.
The newly arrived spells of cool wind caused torrential rain in the North of the Central Coast of Vietnam (Nghe An, Ha Tinh) with rainfalls from 144mm to 318mm. Some places (Loc Ha in Ha Tinh,...) in the region were flooded. The temperatures were 24-27oC mostly.
The Central Coast of Vietnam and the Central Highlands of Vietnam have rain mostly. The temperatures were 24-29oC.
The Central Highlands had rain mostly. The temperatures were 19-29oC.
The South of Vietnam have rain and some dry days with overcast skies. The temperatures were 23-30oC.
On 30-November a strong spell of the Cold Winter Monsoon hit northern Vietnam starting the winter in this region in 2022. Still autumn in 2022 had been unusually long and beautiful!
