The barwings are the genus Actinodura of passerine birds in the family Leiothrichidae.
The name Actinodura is derived from Greek words meaning "ray-like tail" (actinodes and ura).

Earlier placed in the genus Minla.
4/ Black-crowned barwing (Khướu vằn đầu đen, Actinodura sodangorum)
The epithet sodangorum came from the Sodang tribe (also known as Xo Dang) which lives in Ngoc Linh and other areas in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos where black-crowned barwings are distributed.
5/ Streaked barwing (Khướu vằn gáy xanh, Actinodura souliei)
