Rufous-Backed Sibia

The rufous-backed sibia (Leioptila annectens) is a passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae.

The bird is found from the Himalayas to south-central Vietnam.
Leioptila: leio From Ancient Greek λεῖος (leîos, “smooth”); ptila/ptilo feather.
annectens: from the Latin words ad- (an- variant of ad- before n), "towards"; nectens, "tying" or "connecting".
