Chinese grassbird 
(Chích đuôi dài, Graminicola striatus for Vietnam)

The Chinese grassbird (Graminicola striatus) is a bird species in the family Pellorneidae.
It occurs in tall emergent vegetation in or bordering freshwater swamps or along banks of rivers in the lowlands of southeastern China, Bangladesh, southeastern Myanmar, Cambodia, northeastern Vietnam, and Hainan Island.

Pellorneum, Pellorneidae: combines the Ancient Greek pellos meaning "dark-coloured" with orneon meaning "bird".
Graminicola: Latin gramen, graminis grass; -cola dweller (colere to inhabit).
striatus: Latin striatus striated (stria furrow, striare to striate).
