Bac Giang Province is an off the beaten path destination in Vietnam and not mentioned much in travel guide books either. The province is home to ancient villages, lichee gardens, primeval forests and over 20 ethnic minorities with untouched culture.
From 2014, the provincial authority has co-operated with NGOs, Vietnam travel agents and tour operators and different local communities to provide relaxing and eco holidays to travelers. An Lac Commune in Son Dong District is the first in the province to develop sustainable tourism. There are 5 ethnic families providing homestay as well as other travel services at An Lac.
The visitor to the An Lac can have a relaxing time amid the peaceful nature reserve, or an active trekking experience through the wild of Khe Ro Forest, an engaging experience in the daily life of the local ethnic people,... AdventureGreen organizes eco tours and adventure holidays to An Lac which can be combined with a trip to Halong Bay and Yen Tu Mountain.
