    Hypothymis is a genus of birds in the family Monarchidae.

    The word Hypothymis is from the Ancient Greek hupothumis, the name of an unidentified bird mentioned by the playwright Aristophanes.

    Monarchidae is a bird family comprising passerine birds which includes shrikebills, paradise flycatchers, and magpie-larks.

  • Rhipidura

    Fantails are small insectivorous songbirds of the genus Rhipidura in the family Rhipiduridae, native to Australasia, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. 
    The genus name combines the Ancient Greek rhipis, rhipidos meaning "fan" with "oura" meaning "tail".

    1/ White-throated fantail (Rẻ quạt họng trắng, Rhipidura albicollis)
    albicollis is from albi for white and collis for collar.

    2/ Malaysian pied fantail (Rẻ quạt java, Rhipidura javanica)

    3/ White-browed fantail (Rẻ quạt mày trắng, Rhipidura aureola)
    An aureola or aureole (diminutive of Latin aurea, "golden") is the radiance of luminous cloud.

  • Rhipiduridae

    The family Rhipiduridae are small insectivorous birds of Australasia, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent that includes the fantails and silktails.
    The family is of the order  Passeriformes.
