Detailed itinerary

Day1 Hanoi – Mai Chau/Village Walking Tour (L/D)

Picked up by our tour guide and driver, transferred to Mai Chau. Visit Hoa Binh and other sites of interest en route.
Arriving at our hosts’ family, have time for refreshment and lunch.

Afternoon walking tour to visit the Thai villages in the valley.
Overnight at the homestay.

Day2 Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong National Park/Walking in the National Park (B/L/D)

Transferred via a less traveled route with idyllic landscape to Cuc Phuong National Park.
Walking tour in the rain forest of Cuc Phuong National Park to visit the 1000-year-old tree and the Primitive Man Cave.
Lunch and dinner in the park.

Day3 Cuc Phuong Primate Center/Cuc Phuong –  Ninh Binh - Tam Coc – Bich Dong – Hoa Lu – Hanoi (B/L)

Breakfast at the guesthouse.
Morning visit to the Primate Rescue Center and learn about different primate species.
Travel further to Tam Coc and enjoy a 2-hour rowing boat trip amid ethereal towering mountains.
Lunch and climb to the top of Hang Mua for a panoramic photo of the amazing landscape.
Travel further to Bich Dong, a pagoda built into a limestone mountain cave. Descending the mountain, proceed further to Hoa Lu, the site of the Vietnamese capital in the 10th century. Visit the temples dedicated to the two Royal Families.
Road trip back to Hanoi.
