U Minh Thuong National Park stretches on the districts of An Bien, An Minh, Vinh Thuan in the Kien Giang Province, southern Vietnam.
U Minh Thuong National Park is separated from U Minh Ha National Park (in Ca Mau Province) by the Trem River. U Minh Thuong is about 120km from Ca Mau City (Ca Mau Province) and 60km from Rach Gia City (Kien Giang Province) with roads in fair conditions and scenic countryside. U Minh Thuong is listed as a UNESCO Global Biosphere Reserve.

U Minh Thuong covers an area of over 8,000 hectares, of which most is with flooded primeval forests of cajeput trees. A standard boat visit to U Minh Thuong includes the Bat Lake and the Butterfly Lake for about 4 hours.
