The flavescent bulbul (Pycnonotus flavescens) is a species of songbird in the bulbul family of passerine birds. 
The bird is found in south-eastern Asia.

flavescens Latin flavescens golden-yellowish (flavescere to become golden; flavus yellow, golden).
