Ward's trogon

Ward's trogon (Harpactes wardi) is a species of bird in the family Trogonidae.
The bird is found in the northeastern parts of the Indian subcontinent stretching eastwards to Southeast Asia. It is found in Bhutan, India, Tibet, and Myanmar, no recent records in Vietnam.

The genus name Harpactes: The harpax or harpago (Koinē Greek: ἅρπαγα lit. "grabber, seizer, robber"; GEN ἅρπαγος harpagos)
