Oriental dwarf kingfisher, also known as the black-backed dwarf kingfisher or three-toed kingfisher, is a bird in the family Alcedinidae.

erithaca: New Latin, from Greek erithakos, a bird, probably the robin.
erithacus: meaning "robin" and hence "red-breasted".
