Hoi An in Quang Nam Province, in the Central Coast of Vietnam, was a busy international trading port in the 16-18th century. The river silted up in the 19th century which made it too shallow for a port, hence the port relocation to Da Nang (Tourane). Nowadays, visiting Hoi An you can still adore the charming ancient architecture and the quaint ambiance dating back to its heydays.
Sapa is a district of Lao Cai Province, in the North-West of Vietnam. The district of Sapa is like a huge valley running from north to south for 40km along the foot of the Hoang Lien Mountain Range. The district includes the eponymous capital town and several ethnic villages down the valley and on the mountain slopes.
Mai Chau is the name of a lovely district of Hoa Binh Province with secret valleys, untouched forest, Thai villages… Mai Chau is also a name of the capital township of Mai Chau District and the name of the valley which encompasses Mai Chau Township. In this travel guide, we focus on the Mai Chau Valley.
Moc Chau Plateau has the average altitude of 1,000m above sea level with temperate climate. The Kon Ka Kinh National Park is 50km northeast of Pleiku City, part of the Truong Son Mountain Range. The national park stretches over the territory of Kbang, Dak Doa and Mang Yang Districts of Gia Lai Province. The total area of the national park is nearly 42,000 hectares.
The Chu Mom Ray National Park covers the territories of Ngoc Hoi and Sa Thay Districts, Kon Tum Province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. 56,000 hectares.
The Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve is in Kbang District of Gia Lai Province, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The nature reserve was established in 1986 and 98.5% of the area of the nature reserve is covered in natural forest.
