Long-tailed broadbill

The long-tailed broadbill (Psarisomus dalhousiae) is the only species of bird in the genus Psarisomus of the family Eurylaimidae, of the order Passeriformes.
The name Psarisomus: Psaris, a synonym of Tityra, the Greek word "soma" for "body".
The scientific name dalhousiae commemorates Christina Broun, Countess of Dalhousie (1786–1839), wife of George Ramsay, 9th Earl of Dalhousie.
Eurylaimidae, Eurylaimus: from the Ancient Greek ευρυς, eurus, meaning broad, and λαιμος, laimos, meaning throat.
