Trekking Ta Chi Nhu (or Phu Song Sung, 2,979m) is an extremely hard mountain climbing tour for 3 days, 2 nights. The mountain, which is the 6th highest mountain peak in Vietnam, is in Tram Tau District of Yen Bai Province, 240km North-West of Hanoi. The best time to do the trip is from December through March.
Trekking Tour Ta Chi Nhu (Phu Song Sung) Overview
Climbing Ta Chi Nhu – Phu Song Sung is rated among the most difficult of all in Vietnam, many even consider it harder than the highest peak of Fansipan. The mountain slopes where we trek are extremely steep and slippery even in the dry weather and there's no place for you to rest for feet fully! There are normally no trees an anything that you can grab to make your way up and down either! For a normal trekker, you will trek 8 hours on Day2 and 3 hours on Day3.
Accommodations on the tour are at a simple hotel on the first night and in a tent in the mountain. Our local Hmong team will prepare necessary food and water for the meals on the trek. AdventureGreen also provides candies and biscuits… to get you with more energy. Important notes on what to bring and weather conditions are provided upon booking.
