The Burmese myna (Acridotheres burmannicus) is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae.
The bird is found in Myanmar and Yunnan, China.
The Burmese myna was considered conspecific with the vinous-breasted myna. 

The New Latin acridotheres (“locust-hunter”) is from Ancient Greek: akridos meaning locust, and theras meaning hunter.
