    The barwings are the genus Actinodura of passerine birds in the family Leiothrichidae.
    The name Actinodura is derived from Greek words meaning "ray-like tail" (actinodes and ura).

    L'Actinodure à calotte noire (Actinodura sodangorum), qui est non migrateur et qui vient du Laos et Vietnam, est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Leiothrichidae, ou Léiothrichidés.

    Traits: queue comme des rayons de lumineux, à calotte noire, cercle blanc autour des yeux.

    Leiothrix Leiothrichidae: mot grec ancien leios qui veut dire "lisse, doux" and thrix meaning "cheveux, plumette".
    Le nom Actinodura vient du mot grec qui veut dire "queue comme des rayons de lumineux" (actinodes and ura).
    Le nom specifique sodangorum vient du nom de la tribu Sodang (ou Xo Dang) qui inhabite dans la montage de Ngoc Linh et autres régions au Vietnam, Cambodia et Laos ou se trouvent l'oiseau Actinodure à calotte noire.
