    Aethopyga is a genus of birds in the sunbird family Nectariniidae. 
    Nectariniidae: New Latin, from Nectarinia, type genus + -idae.
    The name combines the Ancient Greek aithos meaning "fire" or "burning heat" with puge meaning "rump".

    1/ Crimson sunbird (Hút mật đỏ, Aethopyga siparaja)

    2/ Fork-tailed sunbird (Hút mật đuôi nhọn, Aethopyga christinae)

    3/ Mrs. Gould's sunbird (Hút mật họng vàng, Aethopyga gouldiae)
    named after British bird artist Elizabeth Gould.

    4/ Green-tailed sunbird (Hút mật Nê pan, Aethopyga nipalensis) or Nepal yellow-backed sunbird

  • Arachnothera

    The genus Arachnothera, part of the sunbird family Nectariniidae, contains birds known as spiderhunters.
    The genus name Arachnothera means "spider hunter" and the species epithet refers to the long beak.

  • Chalcoparia

    The genus Chalcoparia is a genus of the sunbird family Nectariniidae. The genus contains only one species: ruby-cheeked sunbird (Chalcoparia singalensis).
    The genus name is from Ancient Greek khalkopareos meaning "with cheeks of bronze".

    The specific epithet is from the erroneous type locality, Sri Lanka.

  • Cinnyris

    Cinnyris is a genus of sunbirds. Its members are sometimes included in Nectarinia.
    The name Cinnyris is from the Ancient Greek kinnyris, an unknown small bird mentioned by Hesychius of Alexandria.

    2/ Garden sunbird (Hút mật họng tím, Cinnyris jugularis)
    previously known as the olive-backed sunbird.
    The specific name jugularis is Medieval Latin for 'of the throat'.

  • Kurochkinegramma

    The genus Kurochkinegramma is a genus of the sunbird family Nectariniidae. The genus contains only one species: The purple-naped spiderhunter or purple-naped sunbird (Kurochkinegramma hypogrammicum).

    1/ Purple-naped spiderhunter or purple-naped sunbird (Hút mật bụng vạch, Kurochkinegramma hypogrammicum)
    formerly placed in the genus Hypogramma.

  • Leptocoma

    Leptocoma is a genus of sunbirds found from tropical South Asia to Papua New Guinea. Its members are sometimes included in Nectarinia.
    The name Leptocoma combines the Ancient Greek words leptos "delicate" or "fine" and kome "hair".

    1/ Purple-throated sunbird (Hút mật họng hồng, Leptocoma sperata)
    Earlier considered conspecific with Van Hasselt's sunbird (Leptocoma brasiliana)
    The specific name sperata is Latin for "bride" or "betrothed".

    2/ Copper-throated sunbird (Hút mật lưng đen, Leptocoma calcostetha)
    The species name calcostetha originates from the words khalkos which means bronze; and stēthos which means breast.

    3/ Van Hasselt's sunbird (Leptocoma brasiliana)
